I’m a big believer in balance. All work and no play makes Jack a…?

So I encourage people to get Creative, to Play, to have something to look forward to besides the thing they ‘do’ (job)

Whether that be a sport, a language, to dance, pick up a musical intstrument, write a story that needs to be told, you get the point.

And I practice what I preach. My fellow therapist and friend Mike Walker and I find balance, purpose and an outlet for our Creative Spirits by creating original music under our handle ‘Creatures At Play’.

In the last three years we have stretched ourselves by writing, performing, recording  and producing three Albums (with links attached)

We pursue Play and Creativity as if it was a job, never allowing something else to ‘get in the way’ because we know what happens if we don’t. Life loses some of its magic, and we can lose what the French call Elan Vital. That vital life force, so needed to meet the many demands of life head on, without allowing avoidance to rule the day.

A great thinker once said you need three things for a good life.

Something to look forward too

Someone to Love

I agree, and Creativity can be the candle that lights the way to all three. So light it up, and don’t let it blow out now
